Bruce Irons gets beat down at Teahupoo

Here’s a link to watch Bruce Irons get absolutely nailed surfing macking Teahupoo, Tahiti…after getting pummeled into submission, his shorts actually get ripped off.  his tow partner Koby Abberton did the only thing a mate would do in this situation, be drove him around the line up with his butt hanging out…classic.

For those of you that haven’t seen Curren Caples rip, he rips.

We remember watching him rule with a bunch of all time skaters at last year’s Vans contest in Huntington Beach….and he was like…12 years old.   Here’s a short video, there will be lots more to come over the years.

While it appears that just about every snowboard movie coming out this year has already been released and gone on tour, Forum’s decision to be the last one at the world premiere party is starting to make sense. It’s like being a kid at Christmas, when you get so disappointed that you’ve opened all your presents already, and then you see one more boxhidden way under the tree. “Vacation” will make its debut next Wednesday, Sept. 28 in Huntington Beach. What can we look forward to? Check the new teaser above.

Jake Burton diagnosed with Cancer

Jake Burton, founder and owner of Burton Snowboards, announced via company memo Friday night that he had been diagnosed with testicular cancer.

"The bad news is that I have cancer. The good news is that it is as curable as it gets. What I have is called Seminoma, also known as Testicular Cancer (think Lance Armstrong). I have three months of chemo ahead with the possibility of surgery along the way," said Burton in a worldwide memo to his employees titled ‘Good News and Band News,’ which was forwarded on to TransWorld Business.

Extreme mountain biking through a sick course, lots of trees, lots of jumps, lots of seriously technical riding….you have to wonder how much bark actually got scraped off these old growth trees, and how much blood has been left behind for prosterity…

Another extreme skiing highlight reel…we had to, these lines are insane.

Featuring skiier Eric Hjorleifson…although it took us 30 times to type Eric’s last name right, his skiing always comes correct.

Can anyone ever forget Jake Brown’s infamous Xgame crash?…some people say it was a 40 foot crash, some say 50 foot…no matter what you say, that was crazy.  How do you even come back after a wipeout like that?  How do you ever forget?…

Easy…come back and do it again.  The next year he came back, nailed it, and solidified his reputation and a ridiculous hellion on small little wheels.

Extreme skiing footage, sponsored by Oakley…very good quality and incredible lines…watch this in Sept to get pumped for the winter…there used to be a great divide between skiers and snowboarders, but when skiers got twin tips and started taking it to a new level, the gap closed and two world’s came together.

No matter if you choose one or two planks, give respect where respect is due…case in point with this video.
